I used to blog almost everyday for years back in uni days. I kept opening new blogs and closing old blogs. 此起彼伏，不亦乐乎。Back then, I kept a few blogs at the same time. One to share views with uni classmates, one to exchange opinions with internet gamer, one to play psychological tests with friends, several to share my casual writings with literature-lovers on the internet, and finally another one for my own diary to keep record of my daily life and thoughts. I enjoyed the experience of blogging as I enjoyed the companion of my friends and netizens whom shared the same interests as I did. Also, I learnt things from the people whom commented on my blogs. I was very contented with the little world I had constructed with blogging with different communities. Thus, blogging was some kind of communication with pleasure. It was a lifestyle I didn't mind spending a lot time and effort to upkeep. It WAS such a pure LUXURY FOR FUN.
But who would think blogging would one day become part of my job?
Nowadays, I’m a working class with lotsa work to do day and night. I have to get to work at 8.30am and at times, go home at, I dunno, 10pm? 11pm? 12mn? or 2am? I remember I was warned at the job interview this job requires a lot of OT but has rather flexible time to go to work in the morning. But even if I’m allowed to get to work slightly later than 8.30am, maybe 9 or 9.30am, there IS such a lot of work awaits me to finish, I just have to go to work on time so that I can actually try to finish off everything before deadline.
How in the world would I have time to blog when I already OT almost every night? How in the world am I supposed to blog anything when all my writings are already in the magazine and I no longer have the LUXURY OF TIME to write anything outside work? How should I actually have any thought to share when my mind is constantly preoccupied with all the articles and coordination? How can I even have the time to write any entry and resize every picture I took during events when I don’t have the luxury of time to sleep enough?
